Dr. Jennifer Groehn
The owner of Highland Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Groehn, has owned and raised a wide variety of pets including cats, dogs, gerbils, hamsters, mice, guinea pigs, birds, rabbits, horses, goats, and many more! Fulfilling her childhood dream, Dr. Groehn earned her Veterinary Degree from Michigan State University in 1985, and her Masters Degree from the University of Michigan in 1989. In her free time, Dr. Groehn enjoys horseback riding and spending time with her family.
Dr. Susan Berg
Dr. Berg graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. She has lived and worked in the Huron Valley area for most of her career. Dr. Berg is exceptionally skilled in surgery and internal medicine. She also enjoys horseback riding and spending her free time with her horses and other pets, including a donkey!
Dr. Georgia Wilson
Dr. Georgia Wilson joined our team in 2011 when she and her husband were transfered from St. Louis, Missouri. She has experience with exotic pets, as well as dogs and cats! In her free time, Dr. Wilson enjoys boating, crocheting and flower gardening.
Connie W. - Veterinary Team Coordinator
Connie is our Veterinary Team Coordinator, and our official Client Relations Director. She has been a dedicated employee at Highland Veterinary Hospital since 2005. Connie resides in Waterford with her three lovely children. She treats our clients and their pets like family, as they often refer to her as "Aunt Connie"!
Amanda B. - Licensed Veterinary Technician
Amanda graduated from Baker College of Flint in 2011 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She also received a Marketing degree from Michigan State Univerity in 2008 . She loves caring for all animals, especially dachshunds! Amanda lives in South Lyon with her husband Chris, their mini dachshund -Forkoon, and black kitten -Sir Waffle Iron.
Amanda H. - Licensed Veterinary Technician
Amanda is truly passionate about caring for animals. She has been a valuable member of the Highland Veterinary Staff since 2010. She graduated from Macomb Community College in June of 2013 as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Her love for animals does not stop here, as she and her husband, Mike, have a team of their own fur babies (Max, Kinna, and Penny) at home!
Dianne - Receptionist
Dianne has been working in veterinary medicine since she was 17. Outside of work, she spends her time caring for and spending time with her 2 rotties, collie and their 1 cat. Dianne enjoys camping and traveling with her husband, Jason, and two young children.
Cortney - Veterinary Assistant
Cortney has received a certificate in veterinary assisting from Animal Behavior College, and has been a part of the Highland Vet team since early 2016. At home, Cortney enjoys spending time with her boyfriend -John, their pup - Krypto, kitty -Waffles, Hedgehog- Mimzy, & their wide collection of fish.
Bill - Veterinary/ Kennel Assistant
Bill,a loyal member of the HVH family for over eight years, received his Veterinary Technical degree from Wayne State University. Bill is retired from the automotive industry and is an avid Nascar fan. He is also a world traveler, having visited Alaska, many other states, and even the North Pole!
